January 6 is Three Kings Day
Three Kings’ Day is also known as Día De Los Reyes Magos and Epiphany, it is celebrated today, January 6, 12 days after Christmas. The three wise men were Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar. The Magi followed a star to find Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Three Kings’ Day traditions vary around the world, most celebrations in Spanish speaking countries involve gift giving, festive family gatherings and Christmas carols. May the Magi’s wisdom and spirit of giving transform our hearts and inspire our actions in 2016. FELICIDADES!
